Category talk:Submariners

Anybody have a picture of one of these guys?

Should this and the knuckleballers category be under the pitches category? Pitches is for types of pitches, not players. - --Mischa 09:30, 11 August 2008 (EDT)

The two categories were under Glossary, which is definitely wrong. Pitches seemed the closest among existing categories. Maybe we could put all three (submariners, knuckleballers and pitches) under a "pitching" meta-category, but then where would that new category fall ? --Philippe 10:41, 11 August 2008 (EDT)

Only 37 entries so far but we have players from the US (MLB and Negro Leagues), Japan, Mexico, South Korea, China, Taiwan, Cuba, the Czech Republic and Canada. I never realized how international the submarine style is - and nowhere is it very common, though some countries see it more often (especially in Asia, I've noticed) - --Mischa 18:40, 21 February 2010 (MST)

Up to 50 entries - --Mischa 13:03, 9 January 2013 (EST)

The description says "at or below sidearm"; I always considered sidearm to be a different delivery than submarine. Shouldn't it just be "below sidearm"? - --Mischa (talk) 10:25, 1 January 2014 (EST)
