Biographical Information[edit]

Submariner Chan-Tsung Yang pitched in the TML for 4 years.

Yang was signed by the Taichung Agan when they were founded in 1996, and he had a 11.94 ERA in 9 appearances in 1997. He improved to 10-9 with a 3.10 ERA and 11 saves in 1998, and he won the TML Most Improved Player Award. Yang was the first TML pitcher to get 10 wins and 10 saves in a season, and he also won the Most Valuable Local Pitcher Award. However, he slumped to a 5.21 ERA in 27 games in 1999, and his ERA was 5.73 in 14 games in 2000. The Agan released him after the 2000 season, and his professional career ended.

Overall, Yang was 13-19 with a 4.80 ERA, pitched 212 innings and struck out 113 in 4 seasons in the TML.
