Biographical Information[edit]

Infielder Casey Stevenson played in the New York Yankees system from 2010 to 2014 and in independent ball in 2015. He spent just four games at Triple-A.

He was originally taken by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 38th round of the 2009 amateur draft, but opted not to sign. He did sign after being taken by the Yankees in the 25th round of the 2010 amateur draft, one pick after pitcher A.J. Schugel.

After two unremarkable campaigns to begin his career, he hit .300/.361/.435 with 5 home runs and 37 RBI for the Charleston RiverDogs in 2012. In 2013, he reached Triple-A for the first and only time in his career, hitting .417/.471/1.250 with 3 home runs and 6 RBI in 4 games for the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders. He struggled in the lower minors and hit just .231/.319/.341 on the year as a whole. After one more season in the Yankees system, he joined the independent Southern Maryland Blue Crabs in 2015, hitting .270/.349/.367 in 119 games to wrap up his career.

Overall, Stevenson hit .253/.330/.362 with 26 home runs, 183 RBI and 182 runs scored in 425 games.
