Biographical Information[edit]
Carlton Loewer played for the US when they won Bronze in the 1991 World Junior Championship. He was 1-0 with a 2.19 ERA, allowing 4 hits in 12 1/3 IP and striking out 17. Loewer also played some infield, going 3 for 11. He was back with the US in the 1993 Intercontinental Cup, allowing one run in five innings (9 K, 4 H, 4 BB) to pick up a win in his lone start. The US won a Silver Medal, but skipper John Anderson went to John Powell and Paul Wilson for the final two games instead of Loewer.
