Biographical Information[edit]

Carlos Sanchez played baseball in the German Bundesliga. In 2001, he hit .333/.462/.494 for the Cologne Dodgers but fielded .851. He had 28 RBI and 21 walks in 26 games. He was 5th in the Bundesliga-1 north in RBI, 8th in walks and tied for 5th with two triples. The next year, he was even better - .472/.583/.917, 11 2B, 7 HR, 31 R, 34 RBI, 21 BB in 28 G. He fielded .867, playing mostly left field. He edged Octavio Medina for the batting title by .001 and was led in homers and RBI to win a Triple Crown. He was 4th in hits (34), 3rd in runs (behind Medina and Dominik Wulf), 3rd in walks, 1st in slugging (.183 ahead of Wulf), 1st in OBP (.013 ahead of Medina),
