Biographical Information

Carlos Sanchez played baseball in the German Bundesliga. In 2001, he hit .333/.462/.494 for the Cologne Dodgers but fielded .851. He had 28 RBI and 21 walks in 26 games. He was 5th in the Bundesliga-1 north in RBI, 8th in walks and tied for 5th with two triples. The next year, he was even better - .472/.583/.917, 11 2B, 7 HR, 31 R, 34 RBI, 21 BB in 28 G. He fielded .867, playing mostly left field. He edged Octavio Medina for the batting title by .001 and was led in homers and RBI to win a Triple Crown.
