Biographical Information[edit]

Carlos Ramirez was drafted by the Los Angeles Angels in the 34th round of the 2007 amateur draft out of junior college, but continued on to ASU. He was then drafted by the Angels again in the 8th round of the 2009 amateur draft. He was signed by scout John Gracio for $110,000 and made his pro debut that summer.

Ramirez served a 50-game suspension at the start of the 2013 season for a second offense under the minor league drug program. He was then suspended for 100 games for a third offense at the beginning of the 2014 season [1].
