Carlos Quirola has pitched for the Ecuadorian national team.
Quirola was with Ecuador in the 2001 Bolivarian Games, for a Bronze Medal in the 2004 South American Championship and another Bronze in the 2005 South American Championship. He was 0-1 with a 7.50 ERA and 11 walks in 6 innings for Ecuador in the 2006 COPABE Olympic Qualifiers. In the 2013 Bolivarian Games, he was his nation's oldest hurler; he allowed seven hits, seven runs and six walks in four innings while fanning three in a loss to eventual champion Panama. Ecuador got the Bronze. He had the second-highest ERA on Ecuador, ahead of only Carlos Mancheno.
