Biographical Information

Carlos Molina played one year in the minors. The Cincinnati Reds took the Puerto Rican in the 28th round of the 1989 amateur draft, one pick before Ivan Cruz. He hit .272/.374/.402 for the GCL Reds that summer, serving as the team's main backstop and fielding .990. Despite a solid campaign, it was his sole one as a pro.
