Carlos M. Fleites

Carlos Fleites played for the Cuban national team several times. In the 1930 Central American Games, he played two games, backing up Luis Romero at second base for the Gold Medalists. He was 1 for 2 with a steal and a run in a win over Guatemala, handling 3 chances error-free. He also replaced Jorge Consuegra late at short one time but did not get to bat or handle a chance in the field. He played regularly in the 1935 Central American and Caribbean Games (hitting .211) and 1938 Central American and Caribbean Games (.174), Cuba winning Gold each time. He then coached for Cuba in the 1940 Amateur World Series.
