Carlos Ferrer

Carlos Ferrer had over 700 hits in Puerto Rico's top amateur league, one of under 20 players to do so. He played for the Puerto Rican national team in the 1975 Pan American Games. He hit .437 for the Bravos de Cidra in 1979 to win a batting title. He was with Puerto Rico for the 1980 Amateur World Series and 1983 Pan American Games. He won Manager of the Year in 1992 and 2016. He coached for Puerto Rico when they won Gold in the 2002 Central American and Caribbean Games </ref> He was named first base coach for Puerto Rico for the 2019 Premier 12.
