Biographical Information

Carlos Chourio pitched for the Venezuelan national team in the 2023 Central American and Caribbean Games. He won their opener against defending champ Puerto Rico, relieving Jose Martinez with a 2-2 tie in the 6th, two on and one out. He allowed a RBI double to Ozzie Martínez but struck out Jeremy Rivera and got Miguel Egea on a fly. After Venezuela took the lead, Eduardo Paredes saved it for him.
