Carlisle Indian School
The Carlisle Indian School, a boarding school for Native American children located in Carlisle, PA, was where Jim Thorpe and Joe Guyon were teammates. Both became NFL superstars and also had some success in baseball. The school was both a high school and college and its football schedule included prestigious opponents like the United States Naval Academy.
