Biographical Information[edit]
Byron Houck pitched for the Vernon Tigers of the Pacific Coast League after his major league career. Fatty Arbuckle owned the team and he worked with Buster Keaton. This connection led to Houck doing camera work on such Keaton silent films as Sherlock Jr., Seven Chances and The General.
Notable Achievement[edit]
- Won a World Series with the Philadelphia Athletics in 1913 (he did not play in the World Series)
