Biographical Information

Buddy Bolding was 953-444-4 in 35 years coaching baseball at Longwood University.

Bolding was a US Army medic in Vietnam. He set school records in pole vault, discus, javelin and 440' in track and field at Milligan College. He then coached Staunton River High School (47-22 from 1976-1978) before becoming head coach at Longwood University. He took the school to the 1982 Division II College World Series and 1991 Division II College World Series. His products included Michael Tucker and Mark Montgomery.
