Biographical Information[edit]

Bryan King was a minor league player who became a major league coach.

King split 2002 between the Canton Crocodiles (1 for 14, 2 BB) and the Springfield/Ozark Ducks (.278/.333/.330 in 29 G). He played mostly second base and the outfield. In 2003, he batted .233/.322/.319 with 5 steals in 6 tries and 32 runs in 62 games for Springfield/Ozark. He served as the Ducks' starting first baseman.

In 2004-2005, King was a minor league strength coach in the Cleveland Indians chain. He coached for the 2006 Oklahoma RedHawks. In 2007-2008, he was the Toronto Blue Jays minor league strength and conditioning coordinator. In 2009, he became Toronto's major league strength and conditioning coach.
