Biographical Information[edit]
Brink Ambler played one year of college ball at the University of Alabama and graduated in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in Commerce and Business Administration.
After graduation, Ambler became an assistant coach at Otterbein University and stayed there through 2018. To supplement his income he also worked as a professional tutor at The Ohio State University and as a baseball instructor at Bo Jackson's Elite Sports. Ambler moved to the College of William and Mary in 2019 as a volunteer assistant coach. He coached there until April 2021. During these years of college coaching, Ambler also served as an assistant coach for the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters in the summer collegiate baseball Northwoods League from 2018-2020.
The Baltimore Orioles hired Ambler in 2021 as a Minor League Technology Coordinator for the Delmarva Shorebirds. He returned to the Shorebirds in 2022, this time as a hitting coach. Ambler was hitting coach of the Norfolk Tides in 2023. The Orioles promoted him again in 2024 to the position of Minor League Lower-Level Hitting Coordinator.
