Biographical Information

Following the 2005 season, pitcher Brian Lawrence was traded by the San Diego Padres to the Washington Nationals for third baseman Vinny Castilla. He missed all of 2006 due to a torn labrum and torn rotator cuff.

Lawrence was pitching coach of the Normal CornBelters in 2012, Lake Elsinore Storm in 2013, Boise Hawks in 2014, South Bend Cubs in 2015, Eugene Emeralds in 2016, South Bend again in 2017-2018, and Myrtle Beach Pelicans in 2019.
