Biographical Information

Brett DeGagne played college ball at the University of North Dakota from 2012-2016. From there he moved on to St. Cloud State University for graduate school.

While at St. Cloud, DeGagne also began his baseball coaching career. He served as the Huskies' pitching coach in the 2017-2018 seasons. He gained additional coaching experience in 2018 as the pitching coach for the Bismarck Larks of the Northwoods League. DeGagne changed jobs for the 2019 season and took a pitching coach position with the North Iowa Area Community College Trojans.

The New York Yankees hired DeGagne to be the DSL Yankees pitching coach in 2020 before COVID-19 forced the cancellation of the minor league season. He was pitching coach of the Tampa Tarpons in 2021, FCL Yankees in 2022-2023, and Somerset Patriots in 2024.
