Biographical Information[edit]

Outfielder Brady Shoemaker was selected by the Chicago White Sox in the 19th round of the 2009 amateur draft and made his pro debut that summer with the Bristol White Sox. He hit .351 with 9 home runs in 57 games for Bristol before earning a late-season promotion to the AAA Charlotte Knights, for whom he went just 3-for-29. He then spent all of 2010 and most of 2011 with the Kannapolis Intimidators. In the latter year, he hit .319 with 11 homers and was a South Atlantic League All-Star. He started 2012 with the Winston-Salem Dash, hitting .331 with 13 home runs in 78 games, before moving on to the AA Birmingham Barons. However, he missed the entire 2013 campaign following surgery.
