JetBlue Park
(Redirected from Boston Red Sox Player Development Complex)
JetBlue Park, or more formally jetBlue Park at Fenway South is a ballpark in Fort Myers, FL that serves as the spring training home of the Boston Red Sox. It opened in 2012 and is modeled on Fenway Park, sporting the same quirky dimensions, including a replica of the famous Green Monster in left field, although this one includes seating within the wall that is protected by a net. A ball hit into that net is not considered a home run, but simply a hit off the fence. There is also a manual scoreboard, just like at Fenway. The team's player development complex is located just outside the stadium. Seating capacity is 10,800.
The ballpark is also used by the FCL Red Sox and has hosted high school baseball tournaments.
