Biographical Information

Bob Koopmann went 19-28 in the minor leagues, pitching for the Pittsburgh Pirates system from 1985 to 1987. He went back to school after his career ended and got a degree in Physical Education.

Koopmann was head coach at Lake Zurich High School (1992-1995), Rolling Meadows High School (1996), Illinois Valley Community College (1998-2004), Ashford University (2005-2006), and Rockford College (2007-present). He was also the pitching coach at Northeastern Illinois University in 1990-1992 and again in 1997.

Koopmann has also managed and coached for the Rockford RiverHawks.
