Biographical Information[edit]
Following a brief minor league playing career in the 1950s and 1960s (3 for 39 between the 1958-59 St. Petersburg Saints and 1966 Tampa Tarpons), Bob Flori went on to manage several years in the independent leagues. He led the Aberdeen Pheasants of the Prairie League in 1996, the Lehigh Valley Black Diamonds of the Atlantic League in 2001, the traveling Aces of the Northeast League in 2004, and the Shreveport Sports of the American Association in 2005 and 2006. He died in 2009 at age 79.
