Biographical Information

Bob Ferguson was 22 when World War II started. He spent the 1942 season with Montgomery and 1943 with Syracuse and Birmingham. In 1944, he was for a short time with the Cincinnati Reds where it was reported he was 4F, and then went back to Birmingham. He spent the 1945 season with San Diego in the Pacific Coast League. He did not spend any time in the service.
