Biographical Information[edit]
Bob Cone pitched just one game professionally but spent 25 years as a professor at the University of Texas Medical School in Galveston, TX. [1] He was a founding member of the Texas Urological Society. [2] Cone attended the University of Texas during 1912-1915 (presumably as an undergraduate) and pitched his one game on July 25, 1915 for Connie Mack and the Philadelphia Athletics. In 2/3 of an inning, he allowed three runs on five hits for a 40.50 ERA.
