Biographical Information[edit]

Infielder Blake Davis reached the majors with the Baltimore Orioles in 2011.

Davis was selected by the Cleveland Indians in the 46th round of the 2005 amateur draft but did not sign. The following June, he was chosen by the Orioles in the 4th round of the 2006 amateur draft. He was signed by scout Mark Ralston and made his pro debut that summer with the Delmarva Shorebirds, where he hit .271 with 9 stolen bases in 50 games. After splitting 2007 between the Frederick Keys and the Bowie Baysox, he was with Bowie in 2008 and hit .284 with 7 triples and 57 runs scored.
