William Steppen
Bill Steppen of Ann Arbor, MI was on Team USA in the 1939 Amateur World Series. [1] He hit .273/~.333/.455, second on the team in average behind Charles Forbes. He was 8th in the event overall in average, between Jonathan Robinson and Clemente González. [2] He had a very brief pro career, going 1 for 12 for the 1941 Charlotte Hornets.
