Bill Percy
Biographical Information[edit]
Bill Percy has been a long-time coach.
He was a player on Florida Southern when they won the 1972 Division II College World Series. He coached for Florida Southern in 1974, Central Missouri State University in 1975, Palmer High School (1978-1983), Mitchell High School (1990-2000) and St. Mary's High School (2007- ). He was president of the Colorado High School Baseball Coaches Association.
He coached for the US in the 1990 Junior Pan American Games and managed them in the 1996 World Youth Championship. He managed the Croatian national team from 1998-2005 and coached for the British national team in the 2016 European Championship and 2016 World Baseball Classic Qualifiers. He has also ran clinics in Serbia, Austria and Hungary. He won the Julio Puente Award as top Envoy Coach from Major League Baseball in 2002 and was named to the American Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2016.
