Biographical Information[edit]

First baseman Bill Enos played minor league ball from 1939 to 1952, missing the 1942-1945 seasons. He spent about a third of 1946 and most of 1948 in class B ball, the highest he would reach. Although a 1B, he never hit more than five homers in a season and only 14 for his career.

Enos was a scout for many years after he left the playing field. He worked for the St. Louis Browns/Baltimore Orioles, Kansas City A's/Oakland A's (19??-1968), Seattle Pilots/Milwaukee Brewers (1969-1973), and Boston Red Sox (1974- at least mid-1980s).
