Biographical Information[edit]
Bill Brown has won over 1000 games as a college coach.
Brown was a catcher at George Mason then was assistant coach in 1980-1981. He became head coach in 1982. He was 895-801-6 through 2013 to shatter the school record for career wins. He won the Colonial Athletic Association Coach of the Year six times and set a school record with 42 wins in 2009, earning the school its first national ranking. Among his products have been Chris Widger, Mike Draper, Mike Colangelo, Shawn Camp, Dayton Moore, Lonnie Goldberg and J.J. Picollo.
