Biographical Information[edit]
Bert Delmas played 12 games with the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1933. He was at Stanford University from 1931 to 1933 and played with the Richmond Colts for most of the 1933 season, hitting .320 and playing second base. With the Dodgers under manager Max Carey he also played second base; the regular at the position was Tony Cuccinello, who would continue to be the regular for two more seasons. Bert was eleven years younger than teammate Hack Wilson, who was nearing the end of his career.
Bert was back in the minors in 1934 and 1935.
Bert died in 1979, on the same day as Pedro Dibut.
