Biographical Information

Sung-woo Kim has played in the KBO and for the South Korea national baseball team.

Kim was drafted by the NC Dinos in the 5th round of the 2019 KBO draft, and he stayed in the minors for the entire 2019 season. He then missed the next two seasons due to military service, and he hit .275/.383/.455 in the minors in 2023. Kim then represented South Korea in the 2023 Asian Championship. He didn't get a single at-bat in the entire event, and Korea beat the Philippines with a 7-0 score to win Bronze. Kim mainly stayed in the minors again in 2024 season, and he only played 5 games with the big club.
