Biographical Information[edit]

Bambang Rachmat Dwitama played one game for the Indonesian national team in the 2015 Asian Championship. Starting at second base and hitting third in the opener against Pakistan, he went 1 for 3 with a walk and a RBI and had five chances afield without an error. He drove in Rizki Ramadhan in the first against Muhammad Abdullah Bara to put Indonesia up 1-0 but they lost 7-1, only scoring two runs in the final four games. Given that solid opening performance, it is odd that Dwitama did not appear again in the tournament; perhaps he was injured. He had previously played in the 2001 Asian Junior Championship, 2001 Asian Championship, 2003 Asian Championship (presumably him - the player is listed as Duitama Bambang Er, which could be a transliteration error), 2005 Southeast Asian Games (earning Bronze), 2007 Southeast Asian Games (winning Bronze) and 2015 Southeast Asian Games (playing softball in that event).
