Biographical Information[edit]
Augie Swentor, who played in one major league game with the 1922 White Sox, was at Colgate University at the same time as a number of other future major leaguers. Swentor also played football while at Colgate. He had at least three minor league seasons, a couple of them in Canada.
On the day he played in the bigs, Eddie Collins was in the 1922 White Sox lineup. Augie batted against George Uhle.
His parents were both born in Germany.
