Astronautas de Chiriquí

The Astronautas de Chiriquí were a winter league team from Chiriqui, Panama. They debuted in the Panamanian League in 2019-2020 under manager Julio Mosquera and won the pennant their first year, advancing to the 2020 Caribbean Series where they failed to reach the knockout stage going 1-4. Eduardo Thomas Jr. (.316/.316/.316) led the team in OPS while the starting staff was excellent with Davis Romero (1-0, 1 H, 0 R in 7 2/3 IP), Andy Otero (1.35 ERA) and Manny Correa (0-1, 1.50).

The team moved to Los Santos for the 2020-21 season where they became known as the Astronautas de Los Santos. Report (in Spanish)
