Biographical Information

Infielder Asdrubal Oropeza played in the Atlanta Braves system from 1997 to 2001, the Baltimore Orioles system in 2002 and independent ball in 2003 and 2004. He joined Serie A1 in Italy in 2006.

Peaking at High A during his stay in affiliated ball, he hit as many as 14 home runs in a season, but never had more than 88 hits in a season. He played for four indy league teams between 2003 and 2004, mostly in the Central Baseball League. After not playing in 2005, he joined Telemarket Rimini in 2006 to wrap up his career.

He settled in Florida following his career.
