Armando Johnson Zaldívar
- Born June 15, 1958 in Isla de la Juventud Cuba
Armando Johnson hit only .212/.258/.274 in 12 seasons in the Cuban Serie Nacional. He fielded .891 and was 12-for-31 in steal attempts. He later became a manager, having more success in that realm. He led the Habaneros to the first Super Liga title in 2002 and has also skippered Isla de la Juventud (1996-2014 and 2021-2022; 807-858 in the regular season and 13-25 in the postseason). He managed Cuba to a Bronze Medal in the 2010 World Junior Championship and a Silver in the 2022 Caribbean Baseball Cup. He guided them in the 2023 World Baseball Classic, 2023 Central American and Caribbean Games (Silver), 2023 Pan American Games and 2024 Premier 12.
