Biographical Information

Catcher Armando Camacaro signed with the Cleveland Indians and played in the Venezuelan Summer League in 1999 and 2000. He came to the U.S. in 2001 and had his finest pro season the following year, hitting .218 with 33 RBIs in 91 games for the Columbus Red Stixx. He continued to play in the Indians chain through 2009 and became Cleveland's bullpen catcher in 2010.
