Biographical Information[edit]

Ariel Adut played ball at Los Angeles Valley College for two years before transferring to East Central University in Oklahoma for his final two seasons. He earned a bachelor's degree in kinesiology from ECU and would later earn a master's degree as well. Adut went on to play professionally for two years with the Garden City Wind (2015) and Alpine Cowboys (2016) of the independent Pecos League. In those two seasons he appeared in 115 games and had a BA of .313, an OBP of .392, and slugged .425.

Adut moved into coaching even before he finished playing professionally. He served as an assistant coach at Los Angeles Valley from 2015-2019 and also led their strength & conditioning program.

Adut eventually drew the attention of major league organizations and the New York Yankees hired him as a DSL Yankees hitting coach in 2020 before the minor league season was shut down due to COVID-19. His "stint" with the Yankees only lasted one year and he moved to the Philadelphia Phillies organization in 2021 as a hitting coach for the FCL Phillies. Adut moved up to the Jersey Shore BlueClaws in 2022 as their hitting coach.

The Kansas City Royals hired Adut to serve as the Columbia Fireflies hitting coach in 2023-2024.
