Antoine Gosselin has been a catcher with the Arvernes de Clermont-Ferrand since 2006. In the team's Division Elite debut in 2008, the 20-year-old hit .303/.471/.371 with 28 walks and 36 runs in 39 games; he also stole 11 bases in 12 tries. He led the team in OBP and was second to Ianis Bouteloup in runs. He had 16 passed balls in 30 games behind the plate and allowed 59 steals in 70 tries.
