OF/C Ianis Bouteloup played for the Arvernes de Clermont-Ferrand in the 2006-2008 seasons, hitting .276/.447/.309 the latter year [2], the team's first in Division Elite. He stole 24 bases in 27 tries and scored 38 runs in 43 games. [3] He was awarded the 2008 BAF award for the best outfielder by the readers of "Baseball à la française" website, [4]. Bouteloup played in New Zealand for West City in 2008-2009 [5] where he is one of the best players on the team. [6]


Biographical information[edit]

The son of a sports professor, he started playing in Bressuire for the Garocheurs, also participating in several international tournaments. He played for a season in Poland, for Zbojcerze Piaseczno, a team located in the suburbs of Warsaw. [7]
