Biographical Information[edit]

First baseman Anthony Aliotti played in the Oakland Athletics minor league system from 2009 to 2015. He was drafted by the club in the 15th round of that year's draft.

The initial sacker possesses a few notable skills, including extra base hit power and the ability to draw a walk. He hit 25 or more doubles three times through 2013 and drew 80 or more walks thrice as well. Though he was a MiLB.com Organization All-Star following 2012, he had a breakout campaign in 2013, hitting .324/.416/.480 with 14 home runs, 71 RBI, 33 doubles and 81 walks in 133 games split between the Midland Rockhounds and Triple-A Sacramento Rivercats. He was both a Texas League Mid- and Post-Season All-Star that year after his performance with Midland - he hit .350/.452/.541 with 29 doubles, 12 home runs and 51 RBI in 91 games. In his first taste of Triple-A that year, he hit .266/.329/.344 in 42 games for Sacramento.
