Anheuser-Busch
Anheuser-Busch is one of the largest beer manufacturers in the world, with its flagship product being Budweiser. It is based in St. Louis, MO and was the property of the Busch family which was also the long-time owner of the St. Louis Cardinals, through Gussie Busch, who was behind much of the company's expansion, and his son August A. Busch III. It eventually merged with global Belgium-based brewing giant Interbrew S.A., the one-time owner of the Toronto Blue Jays.
While the Busch family sold the Cardinals to a group headed by Bill DeWitt Jr. before the 1996 season, the team still plays in Busch Stadium (actually, the third iteration of a ballpark with this name) and the company remains a major sponsor of the team and of baseball in general. It is known for its promotion covered wagon drawn by a team of Clydesdale horses, which often parades around ballparks and stadiums, including the Cardinals' home ballpark.
