Biographical Information[edit]
Andy Sawyers was a volunteer assistant coach at Northwestern State University in 1999 and University of Nebraska in 2000. He was head coach at Hutchinson Community College in 2001-2002. He returned to 4-year schools as assistant coach at Nebraska (2003-2007), then alternating between Texas A&M University (2008, 2011-2014) and Kansas State University (2009-2010, 2015-2016).
Sawyers became head coach at Southeast Missouri State University in 2017. He has taken the school to the College World Series Regionals in 2021 and 2022.
