Biographical Information

Anderson Machado was signed by scout Jesus Mendes for the Philadelphia Phillies in January 1998. He made his pro debut that summer with the DSL Phillies.

Machado signed with Parma for 2012. On Opening Day, he hit third and played shortstop but went 0 for 4 with two errors. He struck out against Jesus Matos in his first at-bat in Italy and things went downhill from there in a 7-2 loss.

His brother is Albenis Machado.
