Biographical Information[edit]

Andrei Tselykovsky pitched for the Russian national team in the 1993 European Championship. He lost to Paul Nanne and the Netherlands, allowing five hits and six runs (five earned) in eight innings; he struck out 6 but walked 16. In a third of an inning versus Germany, he walked three, hit one and allowed two runs in a loss to Michael Wäller; Iouri Jirov took over. His 7.56 ERA tied Leonid Korneev for second on Russia (behind Jirov) and his .185 average allowed tied Patrice Baudin for 6th in the event, but his 19 walks were the most (four more than Korneev and Roger De Saedeleer).
