Andrés Quiala has been an outfielder with the Las Tunas Wizards. He had hit .296 in 7 seasons through 2007-2008. In 2002-2003, he tied Marino Luis for the Cuban Serie Nacional lead with eight triples. In 2006-2007, Quiala led the circuit with eight three-baggers.

He hit .330/.421/.423 in 2008-2009. He led the league with 442 plate appearances and was among the leaders in runs (79, tied for 6th with Frederich Cepeda, Giorvis Duvergel and Adonis García) and hits (124, tied for 5th with Jorge Padrón and Ariel Sánchez). He had 15 assists and 12 errors in 90 games in the outfield.
