The Anaheim Aces were a founding member of the current California League when Single-A was classified as Class-C. The Aces would last one season before folding due to America's entry into World War II.
Lloyd Brown pitched for the Aces despite his last Major League appearence being in 1940. Shan Deniston played 8 games for the Aces. John Scolinos and Bert Shepard also played for Anaheim.
