Biographical Information[edit]
Ana Castellanos was Cuba's top hurler in the 2012 Women's Baseball World Cup in terms of ERA (6.00). She pitched six innings over five games, allowing nine hits, five runs (four earned), two walks and one strikeout. She tied Maddison Lenard, Lauren McGrath, Raysa De Feria, Maria van Veen and Mabel Cuello for second in the Cup in games pitched, trailing Loes Asmus by two. She was not as good in the 2015 Pan American Games, relieving Yanet Cruz and giving up 3 hits, 2 walks and 4 runs in 1/3 of an inning against Canada to tie Enelsy Cordoví for Cuba's highest ERA. She also played first base briefly, going 1 for 3 with a RBI as a backup to Vania Cabrera.
