Biographical Information[edit]

Allie Watt possesses a perfect 1.000 batting average, having hit a double in his only major league at-bat in 1920. He played in one game on October 3, 1920 for the 1920 Washington Senators.

Watt played second base, a position owned at the time on the Senators by Bucky Harris. Watt was three years younger than Harris. Harris would continue to be the regular at that position for the Senators for many more years.

Allie had played professional baseball since age 16 in 1916, and he hit .301 for Portsmouth in 1920. He managed at Raleigh in 1927.

His brother Frank Watt came up to the majors in 1931, eleven years after Allie did.
