Biographical Information[edit]
Albert "Allie" Strobel was the regular second baseman for the 1906 Boston Beaneaters.
Allie was born in Boston, went to high school and college in Boston, and played for Boston. Eventually, however, he died in Florida.
Strobel was at Boston College from 1902-05, his time there overlapping with that of Tom Stankard and Charlie Maloney. He made his major league debut in August 1905.
After his time in the majors, he played for Trenton in 1907-08.
